A CMI EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
IIC was instituted in the college in the academic year 2021-2022 as per the instructions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. The members were nominated as per the guidelines of MoE’s Innovation cell (MIC). The college strives to foster an entrepreneurial culture among students through diverse clubs and on-campus programs. Since its inception, CCET IIC has made a strong presence in the college by conducting activities from the IIC calendar along with several self-driven initiatives. The council has representatives from all the departments of the college and under their leadership the various departments conduct innovation and entrepreneurial activities based on the nature and need of the department. All the departments in association with IIC conduct seminars, Workshops, Quizzes, Motivational talks, student exhibitions and competitions to nurture entrepreneurial skills in students. The institute has registered in the Impact Lecture Scheme of IIC and has given consent to be a mentee in the Mentor-Mentee Scheme of IIC. The college IIC has also submitted the interest in ‘DICE’ in the AY 2024-25. The IIC of the institute is working hand in hand with the various departments and IEDC of the college for the betterment of its innovation and entrepreneurial climate

Topic of discussion covered, roll of IIC and IEDC in student carrier, Idea creation, design thinking and Idea to product conversion. The event was a fun filled event with experience sharing, brain stroming session and fun games.The three hour event was concluded with a feedback session by the students. |

Internal Hackathon 2024 |
As part of Smart India Hackathon 2024, a 24-hour internal Hackathon was conducted by IIC and IEDC CCET, Alappuzha. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Arunkumar, Industries Extension Officer, Ambalapuzha. A Panel of Evaluators, comprising Er. Atul Thomas (Asst. Prof.., EEE Dept.); Er. Arunkuttappan (Asst. Prof., CSE Dept.), Dr. Vishnu T. B. (Asst. Prof., CE Dept.), and Dr. Kiran M. (Asso. Professor) evaluated the Hackathon. The 1st prize was awarded to the team led by Aravind R Krishnan, and the 2nd prize was awarded to the team led by Saheed Muhammed Raffi. |

MECHNOVA 2025 - Mechanical Engineering Department TECH FEST |
The first intra-department tech fest, MECHNOVA 2025, was conducted in the mechanical engineering department, CCET Alappuzha, on 10th – 12th March 2025 in association with IIC & IEDC CCET. Different events were conducted in three days, utilizing the department's facility. |

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY 2025 |
National Science day was celebrated in the mechanical engineering department on 28th February 2025 in association with IEDC, IIC and ASME students chapter. 1. Video Lecture on Sir C. V. Raman was played in all class rooms. 2. Science quiz was conducted and 3. Article writing competition Were conducted. |

PROJECT EXPO 2025 |
A project exhibition of final year student projects was conducted on 27th March 2025 in civil engineering department floor in association with IIC and IEDC CCET.
