Sparkz is an annual department oriented College Techfest, which exclusively focuses on technical events to nurture students to implement engineering principles and practices along with imparting leadership and organizing capabilities among them. The fest is scheduled on 19th, 20th January 2026. There are 12 different events organised by the Dept. of EEE.
The Department of Computer Science, Carmel College of Engineering & Technology, is organizing a hands-on Git and GitHub Workshop – “From Code to Creativity” as part of SPARKZ ’26 Tech Fest. This workshop, led by Prithwin Ratnan A, AI Engineer, aims to introduce students to version control, collaborative development, and best practices using Git and GitHub. The session will empower participants with practical skills essential for modern software development and open-source contributions.
Learn modern UI/UX design principles and collaborative workflows using Figma in this practical workshop organized by the Department of Computer Science, Carmel College of Engineering & Technology. Conducted as part of SPARKZ ’26 Tech Fest, the hands-on Figma Workshop – “From Code to Creativity” introduces participants to contemporary UI/UX concepts and real-time design workflows, enabling students to transform ideas into interactive and visually engaging digital interfaces.
The workshop introduced participants to the Unity Engine and covered the basics of game development, including an overview of C# programming used in game scripting. The session also featured hands-on training, where participants developed a basic platformer game, enabling them to gain practical experience in game design and development.
