Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation was of the opinion that true education meant harmonious development of three organs of man via; body,mind and soul. If any one of these is neglected then certainly the purpose of education is forfeited.
Sports and games help in creating a lively atmosphere in the campus and also teach the students the importance of commitment and teamwork. The college encourages its students for taking part in various sporting and gaming activities. The college has a good sized playground which can be used for cricket and football and also a volleyball court. An annual sports meet is conducted in the college every year in which students are encouraged for competing in various track and field events as well as games.
Being in its initial stages, the college is putting efforts towards setting up teams for intercollegiate and also university competitions.
At CCET, sports is an integral part of student's life. Sports Day was conducted on 17th February 2018 with the Cheif Guest Sreejith S, Sub Inspector of Punnapra Police Station. The day witnessed active participation from students in track,field and throw events. Three houses locked norms for ultimated glory i.e., the overall sports champion. Yellow house won the champion spot followed by Blue and Red houses respectively.
Ashik H from S6 ME won the individual Sports Champion Award (Men ) and Ameena A from S8 EEE won the individual Sports Champion Award(Women). CCET provides ample oppurtunities for its students to participate in a wide pool of sporting events.
