  • The college will be run by the Management with the Principal being the Head of the Institution.
  • It shall be competent for the Management or principal to take any appropriate action to protect or maintain general discipline, prestige and standards of the Institution and as such decisions are final and binding on the students.
  • Students of the college are not permitted to resort to strikes and demonstrations within the college. Participation in any such activity shall automatically result in dismissal from the college.
  • No student Unions except professional associations are permitted in the college.
  • Students are expected to be present in the class rooms on time. Late comers shall not be permitted to enter the classroom without the permission from the concerned authorities.
  • Students shall come in uniform specified to them. Any kind of alteration of any forms shall not be entertained.
  • Students are prohibited from wearing any kind of expensive jewellery.
  • Boys shall groom their hair very neatly. Should be clean shaved but permitted to have moustache.
  • Students are restricted from bringing outsiders into the college campus.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks, playing cards or gambling of any kind is prohibited within the college premises
  • No student shall leave the class room without the permission of the teacher or until the class is over
  • Students should not sit on the parapet walls or on the steps or on the staircases. They are forbidden from wandering in the verandas or in the campus at any time during session of the college
  • Students are forbidden from smoking inside the college premises.
  • Students should keep their vehicles only at the place allotted for the purpose. Vehicle riding on the campus is strictly prohibited.
  • No one should indulge in ragging or Eve-Teasing in any form which attracts serious punishment.

  • Registration should be done to become a library member prior to using the library resources
  • No personal belongings are allowed inside the library
  • Textbooks, printed materials  are not allowed to be taken inside the library
  • Using Cellular phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.
  • Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering library
  • Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken any where in the library premises

Students are allowed to library only on production of their authorized/valid Identity Cards

Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday 8:30 am to 4pm

Issue System

Books will be issued on presentation of the identity card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return.

Overdue Charges

Books will be issued to the students for 14 days only. In the first page, slip is pasted and stamped mentioning the due date and the fine will be charged @ Re.1 per day per book from the due date till the book is returned to library.

Book Lost

If the books are lost, Then the borrower shall replace the books of the same edition or latest edition or pay double cost of the book after getting permission from the librarian.

Library borrower cards are valid for the respective academic year only and fresh cards will be issued for each year.
At the end of the academic year borrower cards shall be returned to the library.

No due Certificate

Each student shall obtain No dues certificate from the library after returning all the books issued and after paying outstanding dues, if any.

Care of Library Books

Students are required to handle the books/ Journal very carefully; marking with pencil, writing or highlighting , tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously. In such case reader shall be held responsible unless these are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issue.

Book bank

Members of the book bank will be issued 4 textbooks for each semester.
Books shall be returned within two days after the theory examination, otherwise a fine of Rs.1/- per day will be charged.

Reference section

This section has Encyclopedia, dictionaries, Text books reference books etc. which are only available for reference. User can make use of these resources.

Journal Section

In this section journals, general magazines and News letter are available. The latest issues are displayed on display rack and other previous issues are arranged in the drawer. Bound volumes of periodicals are arranged in rack and are meant only for reference within the library.

Sanctity of the Hostels

  • Use of bad and abusive language should be avoided within the hostel / college premises.
  • Students are not permitted to keep-in-their possession / room crackers, dangerous weapons, firearms,or instruments that can cause serious injury to others. Students should not indulge in any illegal and/or unethical activity on the hostel premises.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks and use of narcotic drugs in the hostel premises is strictly prohibited.Severe action will be taken against those in possession of drugs or found under their influence.

Ragging

  • Ragging is a cognizable offence.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and students are advised not to indulge in any form of the same; severe action will be taken against those who indulge in such activities as per Govt. orders and college rules.
  • Ragging entails heavy fines and/or suspension/ expulsion from the hostel and/or college.
  • If the individuals committing or abetting ragging are not identified, collective punishment could be resorted to act as a deterrent punishment and to ensure collective pressure on the potential raggers.

General Discipline (Hostel)

  • All the inmates of the hostel should produce their identity cards on demand.
  • Students should lock the rooms so as to keep their valuables safe and the hostel administration will not entertain complaints of theft
  • Members are strictly forbidden from using personal gadgets like cell phones, transistors, tape recorder, VCR/VCD/DVD, hot plate, electric iron, cookers etc. Members should not tap electricity from other than the points provided for the purpose.
  • Members shall not give any tips to service personals or cooks of the hostel & shall not demand any special service from any hostel employee.
  • No one shall indulge in politics, violence, rioting or instigate communal feelings or have dealings with outside elements. Such activities may lead to expulsion of the student from the hostel and college.
  • No member shall absent himself from the hostel without prior permission from the deputy warden.
  • The students of the hostel are not allowed to stay in the hostel during the college working hours. In case if they have to stay, they should apply for leave as per college rules informing the deputy warden the reasons for staying in the hostel during working hours.
  • Students securing less than 80% attendance in a semester will not be permitted to stay in the hostel for the subsequent semesters.
  • Management Representatives are empowered to check the hostel rooms at any time and the equipment/materials. In case of ladies’ hostels, inspection will be carried out in the presence of the deputy warden/supervisors.
  • Activities involving recreation or exercises will be carried out in such a way that they do not cause any damage to property or hostel premises. Any damage caused by way of such activities shall be rectified at the cost of the concerned hostelites
  • If you are facing any difficulty adjusting with your roommate and unable to resolve the issue, the matter must be reported to the administration immediately.
  • None of the furnishings / appliances provided in individual rooms or common areas can be removed and/or relocated.
  • Two wheelers/Cars are not permitted in the hostel premises.
  • Cooking in hostel rooms is not permitted.
  • Misconduct of rules & regulations and activities which are not in the interest of the institution and harmful to the reputation of the institution will make a student liable for severe disciplinary action and even expulsion from the hostel & College
  • You are expected to use the electrical appliances and fixtures in an efficient manner. For example, if you are not in your room, lights and fans should be switched off. Similarly, the common room appliances / electrical fixtures should only be in operation when you are there.
  • Students are advised always to keep their belongings under lock & key and to lock their rooms whenever they go out.
  •  Students are advised not to keep expensive jewellery, heavy cash or any other valuables in their rooms. The hostel management does not own any responsibility for the loss of property left in the rooms due to the inmate’s negligence.
  • Students should not arrange any function, meeting, or religious gathering within the hostel campus without special permission of the authorities. In case, the students need to organize a function at the hostel, they are required to get prior permission from the Chief Warden through the Deputy Warden after giving a written request in this regard. If the administration allows the residents to organize any function, the hostel representative may be asked to provide a written undertaking of good conduct and observing accepted norms of behaviour.
  • Students involving in business, collection of funds, compelling others to join in some organization as a member etc must not be made under any circumstances.
  • Students should return to their rooms by 6.00 pm and maintain absolute silence during study hours.
  • Smoking inside hostels and common areas is not permitted.
  • No student is allowed to use any sort of narcotics. Any student found involved in use or possession of narcotics will be expelled from the hostels in addition to other disciplinary action.
  • Sleeping in common rooms is strictly prohibited.

Mess Rules

  • Once a student joins the hostel, he / she is deemed to have become a member of the mess until he / she vacates the hostel officially
  • The mess is run by the management
  • Strict discipline should be maintained in the dining hall
  • Day scholars will not be entertained as guests in the mess
  • Food will not be served in rooms and the inmates are not supposed to take food to their rooms. If an inmate is ill, the deputy warden will make suitable arrangements.
  • The inmates should not enter the kitchen
  • Wasting food is a crime. No diner shall waste food.  If any student is found wasting food he / she will be fined Rs500/- for the first time. If the same student is found repeating the same mistake he / she will be expelled from the hostel.

  1. All the students of the college are expected to behave politely towards the staff and exchange greetings with them.
  2. The students should keep the college premises clean.
    1. Lack of courtesy and decorum; indecent behaviour anywhere within or outside the campus.
    2. Wilful damage or distribution of alcoholic drinks or any kind of narcotics to students/citizens.
    3. Possession, consumption or distribution of alcoholic drinks or any kinds of narcotics or drugs
    4. Noisy and indecent behaviour, disturbing studies of fellow students.
  1. The following acts are liable to invoke disciplinary measures:
  1. The following are strictly prohibited :
  • Hacking in computer systems (such as entering into other person’s areas without prior permission, manipulation and/or damage of computer and software or any other cyber crime etc.)
  1. Usage of cell phones / camera cell phones in the campus.
  2. Any other act of indiscipline as decided by the governing council from time to time.
  1. Cases of adoption of unfair means and/or any malpractice in an examination shall be reported to the principal for taking appropriate action.
  1. Students shall come to the college campus only in the prescribed uniform with the identity card displayed. Alterations of uniform shall not be entertained at any cost.
  2. All the students must abide by the code and conduct of the college.
  3. Any charge of misconduct by students in any manner in the campus or outside the campus will be handled by the college disciplinary committee as constituted by the principal, which would conduct a detailed enquiry into the charges of misconduct and report its findings to the principal. The principal will decide the penalty to be levied which may include expulsion.
